Rotterdam has a large collection of modern art for all to see in its streets and squares. Rotterdam started the build up of this collection during the reconstruction in the post war years with facades with murals, mosaics and reliefs and many sculptures were commissioned from internationally renowned artists. The development of this collection continues to this day, making the city a grand open air exhibition of modern art. I will guide you along works by established names like Ossip Zadkine, Carl Nesjar, Henry Moore, Naum Gabo, Willem de Kooning and Auguste Rodin. But also new additions by Thomas J Price, Erik van Lieshout, Paul McCarthy, Joel Shapiro and many others. As your private tour guide, I can adjust the schedule, duration and genres to meet your interests. An optional visit inside the Depot Building (Fine Art) is possible if requested in advance.
