Greetings! I am Nigel, a native of Malta. I have been involved in the tourism industry for over 10 years where I have worked in the VIP transportation and logistics sector. Throughout the years, I've held roles both as an executive driver and also managerial positions. My interest in tour guiding came to light during the numerous tours I have participated in as a driver over the years. During those times, I always enjoyed giving clients the best service and information regarding the Maltese Islands. Nothing made me happier than hearing how much they enjoyed their time in Malta. Having worked with many tour guides, I fell in love with Maltese history and the prospect of sharing it with as many people as possible. So much so that I decided to actually acquire the guiding licence to participate not just from the driving aspect, but guide travellers all the way. From my experience in the VIP sector, I assure travellers will get treated as such and I will assist you in any of your needs. I am well versed in Maltese history, especially in that of the World War 2 era. From a general tour of the country, or a peaceful hike in the countryside, to a run-around in a vehicle to get the most out of a short stay. All of my tours can be customized to your liking. Being a native of Malta, I can show you lesser-known areas and beautiful vistas off the beaten path. If not guiding I focus on my hobbies which include: working out, hiking, studying, travelling, gaming, and more. -Higher National Diploma in Tour Guiding -Tourist Guide Licence #1055 -10 years of VIP logistics handling and touring. - First Aid Certification -Real Estate Professional Award None

This tour will give you a good idea of how the Knights of St John settled in Malta and how their reign shaped Malta for generations to come. We'll discuss the origins and arrival of the knights. We'll also examine important structures formed during the British period.
We'll start off at the entrance of Valletta and make our way through the city gate. The story of the knights' origins and arrival will be told here. On entry we'll see some 1800s and post-WW2 additions to the city, long after the knights departed Malta. Upper Barrakka area and Saluting Battery. Walk down Merchant Street and then make our way to St John's Co-Cathedral, the jewel of the order. Af the cathedral experience, we'll continue on deeper into the city. A break can be held at anytime.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
