Dear traveler. Thank you for showing an interest in visiting our beautiful islands. Being born and raised in The Netherlands, my first visit to Malta was in 1988. I fell in love with the islands (and with a Maltese man. . . ) and moved here permanently in 1990. I have a diploma in Tourism Studies and have always worked in this industry, which I love. I furthered my studies to become an official Tourist Guide and obtained my license in 2000. To me, being a Tour Guide is one of the best professions in the world. I get to surround myself with new, interesting people from all over the word, while enjoying the outdoors. Not to mention, show them all that Malta has to offer. And that is a lot! So whether it is the history of the islands you are interested in, or you wish to experience our culture, to find out more about life on a Mediterranean island, to get a taste of the local delicacies or to simply just enjoy beautiful scenery, bays and views, I am here for you regardless. So kindly do get in touch by booking a tour or contact me directly if you prefer a more customized experience. I hope to meet you soon! ·Official Tourist Guide License since 2000 (license nr 698) issued by the Malta Tourism Authority ·Diploma in Tourism Studies I am not a driver-guide. For tours that require transport an air-conditioned car or van will be booked.

The 3 cities that conform this tour, Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua, all have a high historical value. The area encompassing them is where the Knights of St John settled at when they arrived to Malta in 1530. Under their reign, all of these cities were fortified, for they were bordering the Grand Harbour. Walking through their streets will give you the opportunity to admire medieval buildings mixed with post-war houses, traditional town houses and the modern yacht marina. Personally, this is one of my favourite areas of Malta; I never get tired of this scenery and of it's lovely, tranquil atmosphere. During our tour, we'll have the opportunity not only to enjoy a ferry crossing with aesthetic sights, but to also take a little break from everything and enjoy a coffee or gelato in one of the cafetaria's we'll come across. This experience is very suitable if you are a cruise liner passenger, for you can take in some history without being too far from your ship. The following itinerary is customizable:
·We'll start with a ferry crossing from Valletta, which will take us within 10 mins to the opposite side of the harbour. ·Then, we'll start our walking tour by strolling to the entrance of the town of Vittoriosa and making our way down to the yacht marina, passing some interesting buildings such as the Inquisitors Palace and some of the Auberges of the Knights, as well as some lovely winding streets. ·When we arrive at the waterfront, we'll walk along the promenade into Cospicua. ·We'll later cross over to Senglea, where we'll walk along the water until the tip of the town, having very nice views of Vittoriosa and Valletta. ·If you still had some energy, left we could walk up the steps towards the Gardjola garden, where we'd find an interesting watchtower and amazing views over the Grand Harbour. It's worth the climb! ·We will walk back towards the ferry to make our way back to Valletta. Unless, you opted for a little boat ride in a traditional dghajsa that could drop you off at Valletta's waterfront!

This is a walking tour. You should be able to walk a moderate stretch of time and handle steps We will use the Ferry services to go from Valletta to the Three Cities (approximately 10 minutes journey). If you are a passenger on a cruise ship and the ship docks on the side of the Three Cities, we won't need the ferry.
