Hello! I'm Criselda, but you can call me Selda. Originally from the Philippines, I've called Japan home for almost a decade, and Kanazawa has completely captured my heart. What started as a move abroad turned into a lifelong journey of discovering the culture, history, traditions, and everyday life of Japan. Today, I love sharing that passion with visitors from around the world. Before becoming a full-time tour guide, I spent more than ten years as a school teacher. That experience taught me how to explain complex topics in an engaging, easy-to-understand way while creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Whether we're exploring a samurai district, strolling through a traditional market, or enjoying local specialties, I want you to feel like you're discovering Kanazawa with a knowledgeable friend rather than following a scripted tour. Over the past several years, I've had the pleasure of guiding hundreds of travelers and have received more than 200 five-star reviews across multiple travel platforms. Every guest is different, so I enjoy tailoring each experience to match your interests, pace, and travel style. Whether you're passionate about Japanese history, food, traditional crafts, photography, or simply experiencing local life, I'll help create a day that's meaningful and memorable. When I'm not guiding, you'll usually find me trying new cafés, discovering hidden corners of Kanazawa with my husband, or spending time with our two adorable dogs. I look forward to welcoming you to my adopted hometown and helping you experience Kanazawa beyond the typical tourist attractions. Let's create wonderful memories together!

Discover the greener side of Kanazawa on a relaxing 3-hour walking tour through some of the city's most beautiful historic landscapes. We'll begin at Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan's most celebrated gardens, where you'll discover carefully designed landscapes that showcase the beauty of every season. As we stroll through its ponds, bridges, streams, and centuries-old trees, I'll introduce you to the garden's history and the Japanese principles behind its design. From Kenrokuen, we'll continue to Kanazawa Castle Park and explore the grounds of the former Maeda family stronghold. We'll learn how the castle and its surrounding gardens developed together and how the powerful Maeda clan shaped Kanazawa's history. Our final stop is Gyokuseninmaru Garden, a peaceful hidden gem within the castle grounds known for its elegant pond and seasonal scenery. It's the perfect place to slow down and appreciate the quieter side of Kanazawa.
