Yoji did a great job of showing us the highlights of Kanazawa. He speaks English well, gave us a lot of great information, is patient with large groups and flexible with the schedule. He even answered my questions beforehand about places to eat! Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic tour of Kanazawa with Yoji. Despite Golden Week crowds and afternoon heavy rain, Yoji expertly guided us through the city. We had an incredible Sushi & Sashimi lunch at the fish market. Yoji convinced us to venture outside our comfort profile and taste fresh seafood that we would never have tried otherwise. So much fun! We highly recommend Yoji as he is an excellent guide and an impressive young man!
All I can say is that our expectations were exceeded. Yoji has a unique quality to understand his clients. We have done this very often and he is certainly amongst the best. And Kanazawa was our favorite stop in Japan

He was a thoughtful and caring guide considerate of my 89 year old mother's needs. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and fun! Walking, talking and asking questions with Koji in Kanazawa was very enjoyable. The city is lower key than either Tokyo or Kyoto for me, easier to feel the culture being described. Koji's knowledge is extensive. He helped us understand how Kenrokuen Garden demonstrates Japanese garden standards. The Samurai district and description of Samurai culture were spell binding. The Ninja Temple or perhaps one could suggest 'magic hiding house,' was really fun. Quite tricksy. The tour overstretched lunch time and Koji introduced us to Japanese curry. Awesome.
