Overview of your Kanazawa tour
Discover the timeless charm of Kanazawa on this 7 hour long private tour that blends history, culture & flavours. Together we'll walk through the impressive gates of the Kanazawa Castle, once the stronghold of the Maeda clan. We'll also take in its lovely gardens, as well as the famous Kenrokuen Garden, celebrated as one of Japan’s most beautiful. We'll also see the preserved residences and workshops of the Nagamachi Samurai District which reflect the spirit of the samurai era, and walk the narrow lanes of the Kazue-machi Chaya District, known for its Akari-zaka slope and Kuboichi Inari Shrine. Furthermore, we'll explore the atmospheric Higashi Chaya District, where preserved tea houses & shops reveal the elegance of the old entertainment quarter. In addition to this, we'll visit the Utasu Shrine as well as the Oyama Shrine, which is known for its stained-glass gate. By the time you return home, you'll have lasting memories of gardens, castles, samurai culture and authentic cuisine.
