Overview of your Kanazawa tour
Make the most of your day in Kanazawa with this 8 hour private Shore Excursion, a seamless way to experience the city’s gardens, traditions & flavours! On this tour, you'll appreciate renowned craft making and learn about the city’s tradition as Japan’s top producer of gold leaf. We'll also visit one of Japan’s most famous landscape gardens, famous for its seasonal beauty and iconic Kotoji lantern. In addition to this, I'll take you to Kanazawa’s oldest sake brewery where you'll learn of the art that is the brewing process and have the opportunity to taste this high end beverage. As a local guide I am very familiar with artisan crafts as well as different types of sake in Kanazawa and would love to share my insights with you throughout our tour.
Your Kanazawa tour itinerary
-After gathering, we'd head to the Kenrokuen Garden for a visit. -Next, we'll take part in a Gold Leaf Workshop, where you'll try the craft that made Kanazawa world-famous. -We'll then visit Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery where you'll get to taste fine sake made with pure local water. -Our next stop will be Kenrokuen Garden where we could enjoy a special course of Noto beef sukiyaki for lunch! -After lunch, we'll explore the districts of Higashi Chaya & Kazue-Machi Chaya where we'll stroll through preserved tea-house streets and feel the charm of old Kanazawa. -At last, we'll drive back to where we met. This tour can be customized upon request so don't hesitate to send me a message before booking if you want to make any changes to this proposal! If any service is not avaialble on the tour date, we will modify the itinerary.
