This private tour is designed for travelers who want to experience both Hiroshima’s history and traditional Japanese culture within a limited amount of time. Transportation is arranged by taxi for efficient and flexible travel throughout the city. After visiting sites such as Peace Memorial Park, you will change into a traditional kimono and enjoy time for photos and exploration at locations of your choice, including places like Shukkeien Garden or Mitaki Temple. Destinations can be customized according to your interests, allowing you to select historical landmarks, gardens, shrines, or other cultural sites. This tour offers a smooth and enjoyable way to explore Hiroshima while immersing yourself in Japanese tradition. One kimono experience is included per booking. Up to four additional participants (five people total) can join the tour at no extra tour cost. If additional participants would like to wear a kimono, an extra fee of JPY 12,000 per person applies.
Your Hiroshima tour itinerary
1. Meet at Designated Location Meet your guide at a designated location such as your hotel, Hiroshima station, or another agreed meeting point in the city center. 2. Hiroshima Highlights Visit (Approx. 2 hours) Travel by public transportation or taxi to Peace Memorial Park and the atomic Bomb Dome. 3. Kimono Dressing Experience (Approx. 40 minutes) Transfer to the kimono studio using public transportation or taxi. Choose your preferred kimono pattern and receive professional assistance with dressing. 4. Cultural Walk & Photo Time (Approx. 2 hour) Visit locations of your choice—nearby shrines, or other cultural sites—for a relaxed stroll and photos in kimono. The guide will assist with photography if requested. 5. Change Back Return to the kimono studio to change back into your original clothing. 6. Tour Ends The tour concludes at your preferred location in central Hiroshima. Transportation throughout the tour is arranged using a combination of public transportation and taxi.
