Ciao all, My name is Lucia! I was born and raised in Positano, Amalfi Coast. I lived in Naples, London and Barcelona to study Languages and History of Fine Arts and Archeology. In 2010 I started working as an hiking guide and in 2016, after a hard exam which took 7 years of studying, I finally got the license to be a certified guide for the Campania Region which allows me to guide in sites like Pompeii, Capri, Naples, some important places of the Amalfi Coast such as Churches and monuments. I am really passionate about local traditions, food, history and archeology. I spent lots of time in searching for the oldest traditions and always try to go into off the beaten path places so to deeply enjoy and understand our way of living. Every place must be authentic and real that's why local guides decide to this job. I also like to share life experiences with other people in order to have a wider conception of life. I am a traveller. My goal is to make you feel like at home and see my land through my eyes and my words so you can really love it. What else? Pompeii looks like a ruin under a tragedy but is still telling us lots of amazing stories! If you wish to have a unique and relaxing experience, if you wish to relive the glorious past of the Romans, you are in the right place and with the right guide. Since its first discovery, the ancient Pompeii has attracted tourists all over the world. The ruins are not only something beautiful and well preserved but they can tell you how the Romans really lived, which were their rules and their lifestyle. A place like Pompeii is the reason why I became a tour guide and learn about history like it deserved to be learned and every year we discover new things, we change theories, we add a part of the puzzle and I am always amazed to share new information with you. Visiting Pompeii in a couple of hours is not the right way to discover it, for this reason I would love to do this 3 hours tour with you to amaze you with all the background!

We would give Lucia 10 stars if we could. She was outstanding with her knowledge and the location was mind blowing. We had an absolutely beautiful day and because our tour began early, Lucia took us to parts of the site that had NO people around. We were able to tour houses and see frescos leisurely without masses of people vying for the view. An absolute highlight of our trip to Italy. We HIGHLY recommend taking this tour over a bus tour from Rome. If you want crowds of people then go for the bus tour, but of you want a fantastic tour of this amazing wonder then book your tour with Lucia.

I love the 3 hours walking tour because I am able to show you not only the best monuments but also to interact without rushing. My intent is to talk about the food habits, the architectures, the politicians, the real stories of gladiators, the glorious and crazy life The Romans had. . . and much more! Through my words and my eyes, the ancient ruins of an incredible city will be brought back to life and you will remember Pompeii for the rest of your life. Travel Notes (Important): Pompeii is a 2000 years old lady and its streets are not always flat and comfortable, good walking shoes are recommended.
