Hi! My name is Giulia, I was born in Siena some years ago and more or less I've always been living here. As a very young woman, at 20 years old, I became mother for the first time, and after three years I had my second son. You can imagine that I had to live a double life: as a mother and wife, and as an Art History University student (so. . . triple?). After a while, I started to work as a licensed tour leader and receptionist too; in my lifetime I traveled a lot, I met thousands of people from all over the world, and now I put all my experience and knowledge in my job: guiding you to discover the beauty of my homeland. It's truly an honour for me to show how many masterpieces we have, and how many of them are nearly unknown! During the lockdowns I increased my skills studying Florence, Arezzo and Grosseto territories as well, and I became an hiking guide too: I'd love to hike with you along our long white roads, enjoying the so different kinds of countryside we can experience: Chianti, Valdorcia, Clay Hills, Valdichiana, everyone with its particular beauty, flora and fauna, and perfectly integrated hamlets and abbeys. You can ask me everything about the most important towns, churches, monuments spread all over my territory, and I'll be glad to offer you an informative and amazing tour, but, if you prefer, you can ask me to go off the beaten paths, and you'll be astonished by the richness and complexity of this country. . . In any case, you'll fall in love as well! Being baptyzed in the Shell Contrada, I'm so thrilled when I can explain how deeply tied we are to our Palio (horse race) tradition and what a long preparation is needed for this 1minute 20seconds long race, and that is not a fake touristic attraction. I really appreciate to finish my job in front of a glass of good wine, tasting some of our delicious homemade products, because I think these are all part of our culture: my real aim is to create special tours in which you can experience both art and nature, both craftsmanship and food, both wine and fun. So, if you think we have something in common, contact me for further info or check my availability. Let's see in Siena soon! B. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Everybody knows that Siena is magnificent, but in summertime can be so hot and busy: why don't you avoid the crowd and walk with me in a charming light, between sunset and night? We touch the key-points of the town, and discover everything about art, tradition, architecture, history, with no stress, no sweating, no hurry. Moreover, we will have a truly local experience tasting a sparkling prosecco in an ancient palace, facing Piazza del campo, admiring it from its windows, as a proper local, chatting about Palio and Siena's daily life. This kind of tour is what will transform you from a tourist to a traveler: taking things easy, having the right time to admire and taste the city, entering in a special place over the most beautiful square in the world. It's something priceless, that you wouldn't easily experience in another place, and most of all with another guide. *If you have a specific itinerary in mind send me a message and I'll customize the tour for you
Our walk will start from the external city gates and walls, and it would take about two hours. By feet we will enter the Medieval city strolling along the narrow streets, for example: - Banchi di Sotto, the so-called Francigena Road, the main street of the city - Piazza Salimbeni, where the headquarters of the most ancient bank in the world are - Piazza Tolomei, when we will talk about the she-wolf and the baby twins, emblem of Rome and Siena at the same time We will also discover the main monuments, such as the Cathedral, the Santa Maria della Scala hospital, Provenzano Church, and we will choose together which one we would get into to have a more specific and in-depth visit: the tour would be absolutely customized over your preferences and interests! We will finish the tour in Piazza del Campo with a sparkling glass in our hands, looking at this masterpiece from above and talking about Sienese life and the Palio horse race.
