Overview of your Siena tour
San Quirico d'Orcia is located in the heart of the Orcia valley that is one of the most popular postcards of Tuscany . It is nestled in a landscape of hills, olive groves, vinyards and oak woods. Here we can go into the amazing Collegiata church, the Chigi Zondadari palace and the gardens Horti Leonini. Then we reach the unique village of Bagno Vignoni where the main square is a big pool from the bottom of which bubble up a number of hot springs whose therapeutic quality has been renowned since antiquity. The water vapor gives this town a timeless feel that has amazed me since I was a child!
Your Siena tour itinerary
We meet in San Quirico to walk around the lovely town and admire the interior of the Collegiata church, the garden Horti Leonini, the medieval hospice. Then we get by car to Bagno Vignoni to see the babbling thermal water in the middle of the main square and the park of the old water mills.
