Ciao, my name is Costanza, I was born in Siena and raised in a village in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I have two different licences, I am both a nature walks guide and a city guide for Siena and its province, including San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, the Chianti area. After a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Siena, I spent one year in England working in a National Park. That was an excellent occasion to learn English fluently and become more independent. When I came back to Tuscany I moved to an apartment in the historical centre of Siena, near the beautiful Cathedral and started working in a tourism office in the Chianti area. There I was selling wine as well as helping tourists to find their way on the winding roads of the Chianti hills. I liked so much this experience that I decided to become a professional guide. I have been leading walking tours since the year 2000, working for several American and Italian Companies and enjoying having always new interesting people around. Siena is a beautiful city and I love sharing my knowledge of the history, art and traditions with other people, especially small groups and individuals. I love to eat and I am eager to let you discover the specialties of this area, from "pici" (typical thick home made spaghetti) to "panforte". Just outside the medieval walls of Siena there is a beautiful countryside and you can take a guided walk with me. Walking is very good for you and it is also the best way to visit areas of naturalistic interest, to observe breathtaking landscapes and bits of history up close. I am waiting for you! Licensed city guide for Siena and its province. Licensed nature walk guide for Tuscany. •I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

This is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Tuscany, thanks to the many towers still standing within its walls. We'll enjoy a walk not only on the main street but also on the side alleys, finding special spots and stories about this magical place. We can climb on top of the highest tower, the so-called "torre grossa". San Gimignano holds very special works of art in its churches, amazing frescoes on the walls of the main church, the "Collegiata" and also in the Sant'Agostino basilica. We will then walk up to the former fortress, built by the Florentines in the XIV century. Here we can enjoy the panorama from the only tower left of this complex.
We will walk along the historical centre of San Gimignano and its main squares, looking at the several towers built in the Middle Ages. I can then show you where you can taste the best "gelato" you ever had, it is my favourite, so I will be sure you do not miss it. The itinerary can be customized according to your interests or needs.
