Hi, my name is Giovanna and I am an official tour guide of the Campania region. I studied history at the University of Naples. My passion for history is also due to the fact that I was born and raised a few steps away from the Mt. Vesuvius and the most important and best preserved archaeological site in the world:the amazing ancient Roman city of Pompeii! Since I was a child I have walked through streets, shops, taverns, houses, theaters, thermal baths that are more than 2,000 years old. From the beginning I have focused my career on children's tours because what a child leaves behind is something unique. I love their curiosity. I love seeing the wonder in their eyes. With my license I work all around the bay of Naples,not only in Pompeii,but also in Naples,in the speechless Old town of Naples, in its museums, all around the Sorrento and Amalfi Coasts and on the isle of Capri. I don’t simply offer a tour, but an unforgettable experience!

Overview of your Pompei tour
We'll do an exclusive kids tour of two hours and a half. During our tour children and parents will jump into the past, walking through the Pompeii of two 2.000 years ago. At the beginning of the tour the kids will find out that by listening all the stories about Pompeii and the Mt.Vesuvius, participating actively on the tour, answering to all the questions about those stories, at the end they will be rewarded with prizes. Parents prepare yourself because, already now, I tell you that children will answer 10 out of 10 questions! At the end of the tour children will have realised how Romans lived, what the inhabitants of Pompeii did, what they ate, where they spent their days. They will have enjoyed a magical place without getting bored! With the Mt.Vesuvius in background, and a few steps away from the IMPRESSIVE plaster casts of the victims, for their great job children will be finally rewarded!!! It's hard not to imagine the wonder and happiness on their faces :) What are you waiting for?

Our meeting place is PORTA MARINA SUPERIORE, nearby the train station of Pompeii Scavi Villa dei Misteri. You can reach our meeting place from Naples and Sorrento by train or car service. The car service is useful also if you’re arriving from the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts or from somewhere else. In the price of the tour the car service is included. My tours are customizable, so if you don’t need any car service, please reach out to me and we’ll adjust the price.
