Hi, I'm Dario. If you're looking for a tour guide don't go any further because you've found the right local to live an experience in Naples and its surroundings. I live in Naples. I was born here and after a long experience in tourism and traveling I became a licensed tour guide. It isn't enough just to have a license, it is necessary to have a deep passion for this job. Among several experiences I made along my career I want to tell you about an emblematic one. One day I was working and a stranger stopped and asked me: "Are you a tour guide"? I answered: "Yes I am". Then he said: "Remember that all the travellers will see our land through your eyes". Since that moment my mission became to give all of my clients the possibility to see, read, feel and understand the beauty of my land. Many foreign people think that Naples and its surroundings are only Pizza and mandolins, but they are so much more than this. The gulf of Naples was civilized around 3000 thousand years ago, it is a marvellous and complex mix of history, art, architecture, culture, nature, traditions and humanity. That's why if you want to have an idea of my country, I suggest you take one of my tours. Following the Neapolitan tradition, I will welcome you and make you feel at home. My purpose is taking you to discover my country, so that it can give you a memorable life experience. About me: I graduated in economics and high school in tourism reception. Along my education I always cultivated my great interest for art, history and archeology as Naples is very rich on this point of view, I am still studying them. I have acquired many job experiences in hotels, tour operator, travel agency and cruises. My passion is to travel. Thanks to my job on the cruise as the Tour Manager assistant I visited most of the Mediterranean countries. In Europe I visited many important capitals such as Madrid, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Prague. I lived in Great Britain for a year and in South America for several years. I travelled to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. I speak fluent English and Spanish, both languages with level C2 international certification. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Someone said: Pompeii is the most live of the dead cities. Visiting this place you can perceive that the rocks speak about the Romans' world. If you have the right sensibility you will realize that Pompeii is the only place in the world where you can live in a Roman dimension. It's unbelievable but you will see that this epoch is not so far from us and this city is much more modern than you ever imagined. Even if 2 millennia have passed, walking on the city streets you will feel into the Roman daily life and you see where they live and how. It is a unique experience to stay in a rich house and enjoy like them the so colored and sophisticated frescos. You will discover not only the private life but even the public one, in fact you will be surrounded by the power of the Roman empire represented by the amazing public buildings. Pompeii is able to let you feel many sensations which are cruel and sweet, romantic and surprising.
The tour starts at the Pompeii ruins gate where you meet the guide. The tour proceeds by visiting the city center: “The Forum”. There you enjoy a wonderful view of Vesuvius and visit some beautiful public buildings. Then you stop at the public sauna, a beautiful building decorated with frescoes and mosaics. On the way you stop to visit an elegant Roman House. You walk to reach the new discovered area where you see the archeologists at work. Along the way you see several shops which are the witnesses of the commercial aspect of Pompeii. The visit finishes at the theater area where the Romans enjoyed some of their entertainment time.
