Ciao! My name is Rosa, I’m a professional walking and hiking guide across the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento National Park. I’ve been exploring these paths since I was 12 years old, and that childhood passion has become my life’s work and what I love to share with my guests today.  I believe the best way to discover my region is on foot—it’s the most relaxing and truthful way to connect with the land. I think my tours are specials because I prefer the authentic places, where you can experience the real life. I prefer to think people coming here as travelers, not only tourists so I plan my tours by asking myself: "What would I want to experience if I were visiting this place for the first time?"  Together, we’ll escape the crowded places to find "secret" spots reachable only by ancient trails. Along the way, it’s common to meet local farmers with their donkeys or working in the fields. They are as curious about you as you are about them, often stopping for a friendly chat that makes you feel truly welcome.  To travel is also to taste! I'm a foodie and I love to share my favorite local spots—from family-run organic farms to home restaurants tucked away in vineyards. We can have a mozzarella-making class, a Limoncello or Wine tasting or plan a pasta workshop. People are very proud of their places, generous in sharing their knowledge and they will make you feel part of the family! I specialize in small, intimate groups (typically 4-7 people) to ensure a high-quality, personal connection. However, I can host up to 12 guests and I am happy to customize every detail based on your pace and preferences.  Join me for an experience that will leave you with lifelong memories. Overview of your Naples tour

We walk one of the most interesting part of Naples: from the fancy district of Vomero to Via Toledo and the Spanish district. Along the way we discover, hidden corners, the market of Pignasecca and the tiny streets of the Spanish quarter. Here we definitely breath the authentic atmosphere of a lively Naples, its authentic soul and the Neapolitan "every day" life. It's so interesting learn about this culture just looking around life playing. The Neapolitans spend the most part of the day outdoor so the streets look as a stage of a theatre. You can be the spectator or you can choose to take part of this show. Our tour continues to the gallery of Umberto I and the majestic square of Piazza Plebiscito and it ends on the lungomare-seaside with a great view of Naples bay.

This is a fantastic tour! I think a lot of visitors to Napoli never make it out of the city center. By starting this tour on Vomero Hill, guests are able to see a whole different side of Napoli and take in some extraordinary views. From Vomero, we walked all the way down to the sea, stopping along the way to learn history, hear stories, and grab snacks. Rosa takes her guests to corners of Napoli that they may not see otherwise. She is a fun and informative guide, and I highly recommend Rosa and this tour.

Even the driving rain did not stop Rosa from giving a great tour! She calls this tour "off the beaten path," and we absolutely loved the places she took us. From the top of Vomero Hill to the Lungomare, and lots of stops in-between that we likely would not have seen without her, we so enjoyed her chosen stops. And the scenery was just amazing! We would take this tour again, and we highly recommend it (and Rosa)!

Your Naples tour itinerary

• We take the funicular to the Vomero district, great views on the Vesuvius mountain and the bay of Naples • We walk down to the market of Pignasecca. This is a lively open air market where we can also taste some street food. • We continue to the Spanish district that is one of the most interesting place of Naples. We can also see some street arts works and many small trattoria (family restaurants) and we can enjoy some street food (pizza fritta!!!) • We walk on Via Toledo up to the Gallery of Umberto I, a masterpiece •Along the way to the majestic square of Piazza Plebiscito we find the Royal Palace and the very popular Cafè Gambrinus • We reach the lungomare (seaside) where we have a great view of the Bay of Naples, of the Vesuvius and of the island of Capri.
