We'll start with rooms that hosts the precious mosaics of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Alexander's mosaic and Dioscurides mosaics, between the most famous. - Not to forget the bronze statue of the Dancing Faune, from Pompei. - We'll go on with the hidden treasures of the Secret Cabinet (or Secret Room), with its erotic frescoes and curious objects. - We'll proceed with daily objects from roman time, in bronze, glass and silver. - Then we'll visit the frescoes rooms, shrine of the colourful paintings of the roman times. - After that we will go on with the Farnese collection and its huge sculptures, between the most famous we'll find the Farnese Bull and Hercules. - If you have a particular interest in a specific historical period or theme, I can shape the visit around it. - The Egyptian section requires a separate tour but if you are interested in it for the same tour, let me know, and I will arrange it accordingly.
