Hi, I'm Dario. If you're looking for a tour guide don't go any further because you've found the right local to live an experience in Naples and its surroundings. I live in Naples. I was born here and after a long experience in tourism and traveling I became a licensed tour guide. It isn't enough just to have a license, it is necessary to have a deep passion for this job. Among several experiences I made along my career I want to tell you about an emblematic one. One day I was working and a stranger stopped and asked me: "Are you a tour guide"? I answered: "Yes I am". Then he said: "Remember that all the travellers will see our land through your eyes". Since that moment my mission became to give all of my clients the possibility to see, read, feel and understand the beauty of my land. Many foreign people think that Naples and its surroundings are only Pizza and mandolins, but they are so much more than this. The gulf of Naples was civilized around 3000 thousand years ago, it is a marvellous and complex mix of history, art, architecture, culture, nature, traditions and humanity. That's why if you want to have an idea of my country, I suggest you take one of my tours. Following the Neapolitan tradition, I will welcome you and make you feel at home. My purpose is taking you to discover my country, so that it can give you a memorable life experience. About me: I graduated in economics and high school in tourism reception. Along my education I always cultivated my great interest for art, history and archeology as Naples is very rich on this point of view, I am still studying them. I have acquired many job experiences in hotels, tour operator, travel agency and cruises. My passion is to travel. Thanks to my job on the cruise as the Tour Manager assistant I visited most of the Mediterranean countries. In Europe I visited many important capitals such as Madrid, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Prague. I lived in Great Britain for a year and in South America for several years. I travelled to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. I speak fluent English and Spanish, both languages with level C2 international certification. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Naples wasn't built in a day. It has a long and complex history that starts from the underground and continues on the surface. The marvelous monuments, churches, buildings, and castles show well the glory of its past. It offers you travel through the dimensions of several epochs and human senses. It is a unique city different from all the European capitals that you can visit. It is rich in history and art having passed through 2500 years creating an original and unique atmosphere expressed not only by its monuments but even by its humanity and beautiful nature. Naples is a kind of magic with its contradictions where lights and shadows are mixed together to give you the sensation of paradise and hell at the same time. It is not only an open space museum but even a street theatre where the actors are multicolored humanity that speak their own language, the Neapolitan dialect, and act like in a comedy. This outline city will involve your mind and body. Those who can understand it will fall in love with it.
The tour starts at Piazza del Plebiscito the biggest and most representative square of Naples. In this area, you will see the most representative monuments of the city such as The Royal Palace, the Castel symbol of Naples "Maschio Angioino" and others. While tea in England is a sort of religion, coffee in Naples has the same role so you will have a coffee break at the most famous Coffee bar in Naples: "Caffè Gambrinus". In this area, there will be a break for lunch time in a typical restaurant where you can choose Pizza or local dishes. Then you will proceed to the street named "Spaccanapoli", where you will see "Piazza del Gesù" overlooked by the churches of "Santa Chiara" and "Il Gesù Nuovo". This part of Naples is the most picturesque, exuberant, and bursting with life. The road map will proceed in "San Gregorio Armeno" which is famous for the artisans of the crib and will finish at "Piazza San Gaetano".
