Overview of your Naples tour
This is an extensive, diverse adventure to discover the best of Naples' bay, exploring Pompeii ‘s ancient ruins and the lively Sorrento coast. We'll also see Pompeii’s old and the new, from local stores and restaurants to theatres, the ancient thermal bathhouses and the wellness centre. You'll also get to visit the lovely town of Sorrento, embedded between the Apennines Mountains and the Mediterranean sea. I'm sure you'll be fascinated by its contemporary arts and crafts as well as with its ancient origins which I'll reveal. In that, area we'll visit a family run vineyard, where we'll stroll along its fields and enjoy an authentic culinary experience. Since we'll be spending time outdoors, I suggest bringing a bottle of water wearing comfortable shoes. Also, if you book during the summer, don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. If booking for winter, it'd be good to bring a raincoat or small umbrella just in case. Let's toast to your holidays!
Your Naples tour itinerary
-After picking you up, we'll drive to Pompeii. -On arrival, I'll guide you inside Pompeii's archaeological area, where we'll see The Forum and some of the most luxurious aristocratic mansions. If you wish, we can even visit even the infamous Den of Vice. -Afterwards, we'll drive to Sorrento, where I'll guide you exploring its lovely streets and corners, galleries, chapels, and a stunning belvedere. -Later, we'll visit a local winery in Sorrento. -What follows will be a local cooking class, after which we'll taste some homemade organic food, extra-virgin olive oil and wine. -At last, we'll return to where we started from. The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests
