Pompeii, Vesuvio and Wine Tasting - Private Tour

Alfonso is wonderful! Very responsive, kind and informative. And a skilled driver! Great communication both before and during our tour. He picked us up at the cruise port (waited just outside with a personalized sign), arranged a great guide at Pompeii (Alfonso pre-bought our admission tickets, eliminating the need to wait in lines), knew a secret bathroom before our Pompeii tour, then customized our tour to bring us to a lovely restaurant up Mt Vesuvius (most amazing view ever!) that catered to our two family members with celiac who needed gluten free dining. Since 3 in our party don’t drink alcohol we skipped the winery option. And he got us back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. Our family said it was our best day trip during the cruise. Highly recommend Alfonso.

We had a great day with Alfonso. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and super accommodating. We had specific requests around the tour, and he accommodated all of them. He checked in with us regularly and was always available. Can not beat that! We had a fantastic day. I would highly recommend Alfonso!

We had a terrific experience with Alfonso. From the moment we started planning our trip to Naples, he was extremely attentive to all our questions and answered them promptly, even before we booked the tour with him. Alfonso was also very flexible with our overall itinerary for the day. We decided we wanted to visit he Herculaneum (highly recommended) instead of Mt. Vesuvius and also to be dropped of at our next destination in Massa Lubrense, rather than our pick up location in Naples. He was very accommodating and did everything to make sure we were happy. He also gave us advise on where to go and what to do on days that we had nothing planned. Alfonso is very professional, kind and friendly. At the end of the tour, we felt as though we were saying goodbye to an old friend. We are so lucky to have met him. Alfonso is an Italian gem!

The tour was everything we wanted and more. Alfonso tailored it for our group, and we were not disappointed. The guide he selected for Pompeii was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. The wine tasting and the food were amazing. We would absolutely do it again.
