Get the best by your stay in Naples In this tour you will enjoy three fantastic experience in one day. First of all Naples; we'll visit the highlights of the city. From the historic district to the Castel Nuovo, Castel dell'Ovo and the beautiful view from the hill of Posillipo. The history of the city trought its amazing castles, its narrow streets, its ancient buildings and its fascinating legends. But Naples is also the home of the pizza. The place where this delicious food was invented in the 17th century. And the city is of course the best place for tasting the original Neapolitan pizza in one of the many pizzeria in the ancient part of the city. You will love it. After lunch we vill visit Pompeii the worldwide famous roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mouth Vesuvio in 79 AD. The city buried for centuries under a thick layer of ash and volcanic materials is incredibly preserved, like some use to say is "frozen in time". with its houses, shops, theatres, public buildings.
Pick up at you accommodation in Naples city area or Naples cruise ship port. Panoramic tour of the city (with the car); Piazza Plebiscito, castle dell'Ovo, Maschio Angioino, Posillipo. (a lot of photo stops). Arrive a Piazza del Gesù walking tour in the historic centre: Piazza del Gesu (where we will visit the Church of New Gesus and the monastic complex of Santa Chiara), Via Benedetto Croce, Piazza San Domenico, Via dei Tribunali. Stop for lunch in one of the famous pizzeria in the area After Lunch a short walk toward Via Duomo for visit the cathedral and meet the driver Head towards Pompei (30 to 45 minutes) Arrive in Pompei for a two hours private tour of Pompei (we will visit the highlight of the city : the theatres, house of menandro, bakery, thermopolium, lupanare, thermal bath, Forum) After the tour some free time and we drive back to Naples Drop off at Naples at the cruise ship port
