Gastronomic day tour in Sorrento from Naples

A day spent between local flavours and gastronomic traditions of the Sorrento Coast. I will drive you around the village, showing you the best places and the most famous farms located in the Sorrento peninsula. You will see where and how the local olive oil is produced, in the biggest oil mill of the area. The farmer will explain you the process of the oil and you will taste it and with my help, you can also buy and ship your favourite products. I'll bring you in an authentic place where you will see how mozzarella cheese is made traditionally by hand, in a local farmhouse. Of course we can't miss one of the many limoncello factories, to see how we make the famous liquor invented in Sorrento and to taste it. At the end of the tour, why not to stop in a local gelato shop, far from touristic area where they produce the real fresh handmade gelato with fresh ingredients. *Please check included and excluded expens.

The itinerary will be very flexible and customizable, depending also on your preferences, with different choices: About 1 hour drive to Sorrento. 1) Visit to the famous olive oil farm of Sorrento, where you will see the explication of the olive oil process and you will taste many qualities of it. 2) Visit of Limoncello factory with tasting and illustration of antique recipe and the homemade products. 3) Mozzarella factory, where you will see the cheese production process, prepairing mozzarella, provolone, caciotta and ricotta. 4) *Optional Lunch in a local restaurant or local pizza place. 5) *Optional Cooking class of pizza or pasta where you will cook your own lunch. 6) *Optional Luch with local wine tasting. After the farmhouses and lunch, it is time to visit Sorrento, for shopping, walking around and taste the real handmade gelato far from tourist area.
