Full day tour to Ancient Paestum and Mozzarella Organic Farm

Enjoy a private full day tour featuring the best preserved Greek temples on mainland Italy and a visit to an organic mozzarella farm. We'll go to a farm in order to see how they produce daily, its world famous cheese. Besides water buffaloes in Europe are only to be found in this area! Later on, we'll move to Paestum and its Doric temples: take a walk in the archaeological area with its temples, amphitheatre and forum. •First stop will be the organic farm in Capaccio - about 90 minutes south of Naples. There each water buffalo is named, has its soft couch to lay on, has got brushes to scratch its back and some showers to refresh. The buffalos are completely independent because of the highly engineered machinery that provides automatic cleaning and self-milking! •Later, you'll see workers producing mozzarella cheese from behind a glass and also visit the Museum of Ancient Farmers Civilization. At the end you can taste some freshly made mozzarella, delicious! •Later on we will move to the archeological site, ten minutes away from the farm. Paestum is an extraordinary archeological site: during the Middle-Ages was flooded by the nearby river, so the area was left in abandon; this is the reason why the three outstanding Greek Temples did not suffer the spoliation other ancient building did. Next to the Archeological area is the Museum, where you will see finds from Paestum not to miss is the world famous "Tomb of the Diver
