Your Naples tour itinerary
This is a full day walking tour. The tour starts from the new gate of Herculaneum, recently opened to the public and goes all the way down to the ancient port, where the first thing to see is a crowd of people killed by the so-called "pyroclastic flow" (which is high-temperature volcanic gas). The tour goes on through the city where is possible to see commercial areas, opulent residences and public buildings, explained in every one of their single functions. Next step is visiting the National Archeological Museum of Napoli with its wonderful collections of items from Pompei and Herculaneum.
