This tour was amazing, we would highky recommend! Richard is the most amazing host overall. Such a friendly person that really loves his work. Little things matter—he really cared about our family (7 adults). He arranged a perfect lunch, stopped for fresh fruit and lemon slushies. Found the perfect picture spots. And the tour itself was spectacular. Two parts: Pompeii and then Ravello/Amalfi. John Luca was our guide for a two hour walk through Pompeii. He was so knowledgeable—he shared he grew up just a few miles away and had been visiting Pompeii since he was a child. He also was helpful to find shade, ensure we had breaks and water. Just a great host. Then Richard took us to Ravello and Amalfi. The drive is very windy and up/down hills, but Richard took great care to make sure we were ok. Ravello was gorgeous. Quiet and quaint. Amazing views. Then Amalfi—which is busy and bustling. Nice contrast in cities and Richard so perfect to get us to the right spots to see.

Richard was great as with all the guides we had with Tours By Locals they are all so knowledgeable and Richard's genuine desire to make sure your experience with him is more than you would expect. Richard took us to a Winery to have lunch and it was the most amazing Italian food that it is hard to express how wonderful it was.
