The best way to discover new places is to do it with the locals, and I am inviting you to join me in exploring beautiful Sorrento, a handsome place with a spectacular cliff-top setting facing Mount Vesuvius across the glittering bay of Naples. Together we will explore the historical center which is laid out on many narrow streets with many restaurants serving typically Italian local food, world famous gnocchi alla sorrentina (blend of tomato, mozzarella, basil) and we will roam around many local shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs. Direction south-west of Sorrento is a wild and beautiful stretch of coast that developers have left untouched: the Amalfi Coast: tiny beaches and caves folded into rugged cliffs, terraced hillsides planted with olive groves, citrus orchards, and stone houses. Sometimes words can't properly explain the beauty of some places, therefore I am inviting you to join me and discover this amazing place through the eyes of locals.
Your Naples tour itinerary
- Pick up from Naples - First we visit Sorrento, we walk under lemon groves through a very special and peaceful place called "Agruminato" which means full of lemon trees. - Then we reach the historical center where you can admire local and typical shops like thetraditional in laid wood works with visit included of the oldest historical factory. - After the visit of Sorrento we drive to the Amalfi Coast. First stop will be a terrace above the village of Positano for taking a picture from the most panoramic point of the most beautiful village of the Amalfi. - We can stop for lunch in a farm house in Positano where "mom and dad" cook the slow food produced in their own garden. - After this stop we'll reach Amalfi driving on the scenic road SS63 following the natural course of the coastline.
