On the way to the Temple of Somanathpur you will see the big River Kaveri where you find many Birds, Fishermen, Fishing , People collecting sand with their small boat. I recommend you to the local restaurants where you can taste unique never, ever heard and tasted. If you are interested I can arrange you to Yoga classes, Dance, Music concerts. I have license Approved Tourist Guide license issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture , Government of India . No restrictions as such .

Overview of your Mysore tour
According to the local legend, the demon king Mahisha was ruling here when was killed by the goddess Parvathi, and Mysore is named after him. I came to mysuru in 1985 to a wedding, I had the opportunity to witness the procession of the festival of DASARA. I was amazed to see the decorated Elephants, Horses, Camels with dancers, musicians colorfully dressed. I was told that mysuru was planned by the king with wide roads, comfortable footpaths, beautiful parks, one of the cleanest cities in the country, where people were gentle and smiling, so I decided to live here, that came true about 15 years ago. Most of the people of the state like to live in mysuru after their retirement so it is known as pensioner's paradise. I have been working as a Tour Guide for the last 20 years. I not only work as a tour guide but also a tour escort, who takes care of everything you might need, so come and I'll take you on a unique tour to discover the City of Palaces.

- DEVARAJA VEGETABLE AND FRUIT MARKET: One of the biggest markets in south India, over 500 vendors selling Vegetables, Fruits, Flowers, Spices, Groceries beautifully presented and very lively - 1 hour - CHAMUNDI HILL: We drive about 10 km from the town to the hill to see the Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess PARVATHI. On the way back we stop to witness to see the panorama of Mysore. Further down we will see the big statue of BULL carved in the 17 century with Granite weighs about 50 tonnes - around 2 hours - St PHILOMINA'S CHURCH: One of the biggest churches in India built in 1933 by the French architect with Granite [ the foundation stone was laid by the famous king Krishnaraja ] - around 30 min - SOMANATHPUR TEMPLE: We drive about 1 hour to see the temple built in the 13th century by the HOYSALA dynasty in a unique style known for its fine carvings of soapstone.
