I started my visit with a tour guide, and ended it with a friend! Gajendra gave me so much more than I expected. In our short 2 days together, he customized a private experience to my exact needs and interests. His knowledge of the monuments and their history is astounding, but beyond that, we talked about current events, how India has changed over the years, and what is shaping the future. He listened to my stories as well, and we both enjoyed our chats. I could count on Gajendra to anticipate every circumstance, including avoiding crowds, searing heat, appropriate rest breaks, and fun spots off the beaten path.
