Overview of your Hyderabad tour
I invite you to join me in exploring the world's largest masonry dam and the only island museum in India. The museum on Nagarjunakonda Island is not large but is an archeological gem where Buddhist, Paleolithic and Neolithic artifacts can be seen. Some of the Stone Age tools are said to have been collected by Lord Buddha himself! So let's get on the boat that will take us over the freshwater reservoir to the Island Museum where you can see the land of Buddha ruins and the world's largest Buddhavanam (Buddhist park) Unlike the Museum, the dam, although a modern building was conceived as a temple of modern India, as the first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru said. In addition to meeting the needs for drinking water, irrigation and electricity, the dam is an attractive location due to its size and large accumulation. The powerful flow of water when the door is open and the beautiful panoramic view, is simply enchanting, these are the places which are worth visiting.
