We had an absolutely fantastic day in Berlin with Karen. Three of us met Karen in our hotel and we talked about our interests and the different things we could see and do. Karen was very attentive and flexible. We had seen a couple things on our own the day before and our tour was adjusted accordingly. We walked all through the former East Berlin, learning all about the history, and chatting about the variety of architectural styles and influences. We had a quick authentic Berlin lunch, and enjoyed seeing all the institutional buildings, churches, museums and off-the-beaten path alleyways. We took the underground to the Brandenberg Gate area and learned about the Reichstadt and the new construction there. Then a S-Bahn trip to Kurfürstendamm to learn about the memorial and the new shopping areas. Finally back to Potsdamer Platz to view the new city centre. Thank you Karen for a brilliant day in every way.

We highly recommend this tour. Karen communicated with us about a convenient location to meet- the train station was great starting point to learn about Berlin. The tour is well worth the cost because one learns so much about the city and it's past happenings which impacted the city. Karen allowed us to visit sites that were of interest to us. We learned so much. We were then to plan the rest of our time visiting sites that Karen recommended.
