Hi, I'm Natalie, a history nerd and former architect now working as a full-time tour guide in Berlin. After working as an architect in Australia for several years I decided to take a break one summer to explore Berlin, and I never left. My goal: My goal as your guide is to bring Berlin's history to life and show you new ways of seeing the city. I combine historical storytelling with architecture, because I believe that history is written in the buildings, and I hope to inspire you to love Berlin as much as I do! What I offer: I'm always out exploring Berlin, looking for new galleries, cafes, buildings and memorials, so put on your comfiest shoes and let's explore together! I specialise in history and architecture tours, and also offer tours to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and Potsdam. Tours for younger visitors: I welcome visitors of all ages on my tours and have crafted a family-friendly tour of Berlin, designed to keep everyone engaged, whether you're 8 or 80. Making Berlin's complex and occasionally difficult history accessible to everyone is important to me, and a private family tour offers plenty of opportunities to ask all your questions. Why book a tour with me? All tours are 100% customisable. Got questions? Ask them! On a private tour you'll have my full attention and support. A digital map with curated recommendations for other things to see and do in Berlin after the tour. Walking or private car tours.

Berlin is full of history - think of the rise and fall of empires, two world wars, and a wall that cleaved the city in two, dividing families in the process. Knowing where to start and what to see can be overwhelming. But that's where I come in. On this 4-hour walking tour we visit all the must-see sights, and I'll be sure to show you some of my favourite local spots too. We'll explore not just the 'what' by the 'why' behind each landmark and story. My goal is for you to gain a deeper understanding of Berlin, and hopefully, for you to love the city as much as I do! As a former Architect I can't help but share my perspective on the city - it's buildings, streets and landscapes. I love bringing history to life on my tours by finding traces of it in the buildings around us. During the tour I'll be sure to provide you with recommendations of other things to see, do and eat (all my favorite spots), and I can customize this tour according to your requests.
