A "Senior Guide" by now, being a tour guide since 1994, I'm still passionate about this ever-changing town. This is Berlin to me: modern German politics, city planning, Prussian kings and emperors, avantgarde arts and cultures, multiethnic life, dreamy lakeshores, a great amount of freedom. . . but mostly, of course, it's the 20th century history which counts here. The two big tales of the 20th century were Berlin-made - one of deepest misery and one of highest joy - Hitler's Third Reich and the Fall of the Berlin Wall. It was the fascination of Berlin after the Wall had gone, the split city becoming one, that made me turn Berlin into my profession. I offer expertise and experience, comprehensive, top-quality and knowledgeable services, always focusing on my guests's interests and wishes. All my tours can be taken either with minivan, bus, or walking/taxi/public transport. All tours in English, Spanish or German. I also work as tour and travel guide in Germany, Czech Republic, and Poland, Krakow/Auschwitz. Apart from guiding, I love swing dancing and I create art (mostly drawings). Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Berlin! Certified member of BVGD (Federal Association of Guides in Germany) and Berlin Guide e.V. Certified guide in: Otto Weidt's Workshop of the Blind, Memorial KZ Sachsenhausen, Pergamon Museum, Old Museum, Charlottenburg Palace / New Wing Guiding in Topography of Terror, Jewish Museum, New Museum, Old National Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie Museum, Allied Museum, Stasi Museum Dipl.-Psych. in Psychology, Free University Berlin, Art Therapist

Royal monuments and magnificent treasures of science and art are found on the boulevard Unter den Linden and in Berlin's historic city center. Let's see buildings created by King Frederick "The Great" like the Opera House, learn about Nobel Award winners like Albert Einstein, from Humboldt University, dive into the Museum Island and inspect the Humboldtforum. This building is the partly modern rebirth of the Berlin City Palace, main seat of the Hohenzollern dynasty, which was blown up by East German Socialists in 1950. Learn about Nikolai Quarter, our bizarre Socialist reminiscence of Berlin's Medieval cradle. And we'll see Gendarmenmarkt, the most beautiful square in Berlin.
Prussia's Treasures Walking Tour includes famous Berlin sights, such as: - Unter den Linden - Gendarmenmarkt - State Opera - Bebel Square, Memorial of Nazi Book Burning - Humboldt University - Old State Library - Berlin Palace / Humboldtforum - Berlin Cathedral - Museum Island - Nikolai Quarter - Prussian Arsenal /German History Museum - New Guard House / Memorial for Victims of War and Dictatorship - Palace Bridge I can always customize this tour according to your preferences, e. g. make it shorter or longer.
