Hello! My name is Maureen, and I’m from the region of Normandy, where I was born and raised. I’ve been passionate about history for as long as I can remember, so I pursued a degree in guiding, which allowed me to combine my love of languages, history, and storytelling. I began my career by doing tours at a Calvados distillery, an experience that gave me a deep appreciation for our regional heritage. Outside of guiding, I love reading and discovering new things; I’m naturally curious and always eager to connect with new people. I have been a professional guide in my region for two years now. My travels and experiences have shown me the value a guide can add to enriching visitors' experiences and connecting them to local culture. I’ve always wanted to help people explore Normandy in a genuine and unique way, sharing stories that bring each tour to life. Normandy has an exceptional heritage, and I love taking visitors through its rich and complex history.
