Hello everyone! Dobrodošli/Welcome! My name is Kristina, but you can call me Kris ;) . . . I hope to be your guide during your visit to my beautiful country. I am a tour guide with many years of experience in the travel industry and with even more years of experience in simply showing my family, friends, friends of friends and former business partners beauties and hidden secrets of Dalmatia - a coastal region of Croatia with beautiful sea, beaches, food, wine, historical places and countryside. . . a place I call - HOME . . . I was doing it for fun at first and/or as a favor until one day I realized. . . I should make this my permanent job. . . and so I did! I try to put my love for reading and history into good use and bring you a bit closer our tumultuous history and all the characters that played big part in it. With history, I believe it's important to explore even some less known facts and sights, while still enjoying little local curiosities and stories. As I've lived some time abroad, and am also a passionate traveller, I try to give my guests the same experience I often strive to and therefore I hope not only to guide you around my country but help you make valuable memories to last a lifetime. . . or at least until you visit again! ;) Besides history, my second love is food :)) …I'm actually a huge foodie and love to both cook and eat. . . therefore if you need recommendations for local restaurants, feel free to let me know and I'll show you my favorite spots. I'd also like to introduce you to true Dalmatian cuisine, and afterwards you'll understand why Dalmatian people are often slim even though we eat a lot - spoiler alert: it has something to do with lots of seafood and olive oil. . . and wine. . . good wine makes you thinner;)) In case you can't find what you're looking for in my selection of tours, just message me and together we'll unveil the glorious past and present of this unforgettable region of Dalmatia and create a tour thats simply made just for YOU! ;) P. s. : for sleeping arrangements and recommendations for hotels/apartments/villas or even some tips about your whole Balkan/Croatian itinerary, don't hesitate to message me as well. . . chance is, I know a guy who knows a guy :)) See you soon :) *Licensed tour guide for Split-Dalmatia County *Licensed tour guide for Dubrovnik-Neretva County *National Geographic certified guide *University degree in Entrepreneurship by University of Economics, Split No restrictions

I would like to welcome you to my hometown, Split! A lot can be said about Split. Sportiest city in the world, most beautiful city in the world, a city in which "fjaka" was invented (psychophysical state of mind when there is an aspiration for nothing and to do nothing) and so on and so on. . . However, one thing is for sure, Split is one of the most unique cities in the world because its heart lies within a 1700-year-old Roman palace and nothing you've heard or read before coming can fully prepare you for what you will find and explore here. Don't come looking for fancy beds and chandeliers as instead I will help you discover many small hidden streets and corners while soaking in the atmosphere of a Roman age masterpiece before you stumble upon my favorite cafe with best coffee or come face to face with a sphinx! :) Along the way, I will share the story about emperor Diocletian who built his palace here and made a foundation for a city to rise from it.

Kristina was smart, entertaining and knowledgeable. She adapted the tour to our interests and gave us fun facts about the Palace and other buildings that I had not heard elsewhere. She gave us interesting suggestions for other activities in the area based on our needs (outdoorsy and artsy) and we were not disappointed the next day! She was down to earth and patient regarding our silly questions about daily life in Split. We highly recommend her!!
Kristina is great. Knowledgeable, friendly, honest and very interesting.
We couldn't recommend Kristina A. more highly. She kept us spellbound with her colorful commentary, historical insights and insider tips—not to mention wonderful sense of humor. We came away utterly enchanted by this extraordinary city and knew exactly how we wanted to spend the rest of our time in Split. This efficient and entertaining knowledge download is unbeatable. Impeccable English. Terrific restaurant recommendations too. Thanks so much Kristina!
Kristina was absolutely fantastic!!! Very informative and her English was excellent. I only had time for a 2 hour tour and we covered a ton of ground. Will definitely be booking her on our return trip next year.
