Hello, dear traveler! My name is Sanja, and I’m proud to say I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Split, Croatia. From a young age, I have been deeply passionate about learning foreign languages and discovering new cultures through travel. These interests have shaped my career and life, allowing me to turn my love for languages and exploration into a fulfilling profession. I graduated from the University of Split with a degree in foreign language education, and soon after, I earned my tour guide's license. I am fluent in English, Italian, and French, and conversational in Spanish, which enables me to connect with travelers from all over the world. My extensive knowledge of languages has allowed me to build a deep understanding of the various cultures I engage with, while also providing me the opportunity to share the fascinating history and culture of Split, a city I have meticulously studied throughout my career. Since 2011, I have been working as a professional tour guide, collaborating with both Croatian and foreign travel agencies on group and private tours. I have had the pleasure of working with renowned cruise lines such as Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Viking Cruises, TUI Marella Cruises, Ponant Cruises, and CroisiEurope Cruises. Additionally, I organize my own private walking tours in Split, which I am excited to offer through this platform. I truly believe that every traveler deserves a personalized and engaging experience, and I would be delighted to share the rich history, culture, and hidden gems of my hometown with you. So, put on your comfortable walking shoes, and join me on one of my private walking tours in Split! I look forward to meeting you!

Join me for a 2,5-hour walking tour through the heart of Split. We’ll meet in the Old Town, and start by exploring the 4th-century Palace of Emperor Diocletian. Inside, you’ll wander through the Substructures, marvel at the Peristil square, and discover historical treasures like the Mausoleum (now St. Domnius’s Cathedral), Jupiter’s Temple, and the old Jewish ghetto with an active synagogue. Next, we’ll venture into Split's medieval neighborhood, and stroll through historic squares like Pjaca, Fruit Square and Prokurative, uncovering centuries of Venetian, French, and Austrian influence. The final stretch takes us to the picturesque Varoš district, where we’ll ascend approximately 100 steps to Marjan Hill’s first viewpoint (a 10 to 15-minute hike). The panoramic vista of Split will leave you speechless. The tour concludes at Riva promenade by the sea. Please note, the steps are challenging for those with mobility difficulties.
