Hello and welcome dear traveler! My name is Boško and I am a licensed tourist guide for Split-Dalmatia and Šibenik-Knin counties in Croatian and English language. The history of Dalmatia is a long one and its beginnings are shrouded in mystery. We'll start our journey through time in Salona, the most important archeological site in Croatia. If you are a history enthusiast as I am, you will be fascinated by the ancient ruins and the stories they tell. I will illustrate how the once mighty town of 60 000 people and a birthplace of Roman Emperor Diocletian swiftly declined in its importance in the beginning of the middle ages and was deserted and uninhabited ever since. Next stop on the journey through the ages is Trogir. „The Stone Beauty" is an excellent example of over two millennia of urban continuity. Its historic center is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. We will explore the narrow streets, majestic Cathedral of St Lawrence with its stunning Portal, palaces and much more in this charming „museum town". It is said that Greek god of happy moment wanders the streets and if you catch it by its hair you will get your share of happy moments. Try not to miss him!
We had a great tour in Salona, Klis and Trogir. Bosko was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the sites he shows you and shares all sorts of information you won't get out of a guide book. He is very personable, flexible and easy to talk to. The tour was well organized and coordinated from start to finish. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. We highly recommend Bosko as tour guide - you won't be disappointed.
My guide, Bosko, was well studied on history, archeology and architecture of both Salona and Klis. He has a great understanding and delivery of ancient history in general. He was a wealth of information and was able to answer all of my many questions. He was professional, an excellent guide, sincere and fun to spend time with. Bosko was such an amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable and kind. We loved the Fortress and Game of Thrones tour and the surrounding areas. His van was very clean and he is a great driver and a great person. I would recommend him to everyone!
