Overview of your Split tour

Visiting Kravice waterfalls, Međugorje and Mostar Bridge. The world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) is Mostar's indisputable visual focus. Its pale stone arch magnificently throws back the golden glow of sunset or the tasteful night-time floodlighting. The bridge's swooping stone arch was originally built between 1557 and 1566 on the orders of Suleyman the Magnificent. After city tours MY family & I would love to take you into our home in our village of Hardomilje and show you our way of life which has changed little over the generations & is based on organically grown food & homemade specialties. My mom will cook for you! You'll see nature's best from the banks, hear about the old customs & traditions while having a drink. The pristine aquafer waters of the Trebizat River.

Ante showed me a great day in Bosnia! Kravica Falls was beautiful. People were still swimming because it is so warm. The famous bridge at Mostar and the bazaar on either side were charming and bustling. We also went to Ante's mother's home on the Bosnia/Croatia border for lunch. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Her cooking was wonderful as was the home grown tomatos, grapes and their personal wine and cherry liquors. We beat the rain. Ante's van is comfortable and his English was excellent.

BEST DAY EVER!! That is what my adult kids had to say. We have traveled all over the world and have done and seen many things but the day spent with Ante and the incredible lunch prepared by his sweet mama was according to my entire family.. the best thing we have ever done! THAT is how great our day was! Bosnia is amazing and Ante proudly guided us around to see some of the beautiful highlights but the lunch.. well I doubt we will ever have a better meal, a truly unforgettable experience!

Ante was a terrific guide. He loves his country and want to show it off. Part of the tour included (as he put it) "lunch at my mother's house". This was more like a feast. No way could you have eaten all the food that was prepared, and it was all fabulous. If you get the chance to have Ante as your guide, don't pass it up.
