My name is Nik. I love Toronto’s outdoor adventures and interesting buildings and gems around the city! I have been in and out of Toronto since 2016. Coming from cultrue where sport is deeply ingrained in one's lifestyle, my favourite activities by far are biking around the parks and SUPping the lake! During the summer, Toronto is an absolutely fantastic place for adventures, and the views of the city from the lake are abolutely stunning. This is also the time of festivals and many concerts, and I am always trying to stay informed about what events are held in town. Before becoming a Torontonian, have lived mostly in Europe and shortly in New Zealand. I am raised in Prague. I also lived in Lisbon and Sofia and for the last decade I have been teaching skiing and guiding in the Swiss Alps. In case I am not chasing an adventure, I work in tech and finance. I try to stay outdoors as much as possible to compensate for the hours spent in front of screens. Since being in high school, I have been almost always working part-time in the tourist sector, so it is now 2 decades since I have been delivering some sort of experience to visitors of either Prague, the Swiss Alps, or also some other places such as Whistler, Canada or Wanaka, New Zealand. I have worked with people from all over the world and dare to say you will be with a very experienced guide on your tour. Nevertheless, a guide who is always looking to learn and improve. Being a passionate nature lover, I am eager to deliver some adventure-packed experiences combined with city highlights! If you like to stay fit, while exploring both man made and natural wonders of Toronto, then I am the right person to tour with!

On this tour we will make sure you are on track with staying fit and energetic but also nurture our spirit through art and culture! We will see one of Toronto's most loved and hated architectural works, which happens to be Canada's biggest museum. Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is home to some fantastic exhibitions (rom.on.ca/whats-on/exhibitions) and is also considered to have one of the best dinosaur skeleton and specimen collections in the world. This tour is also designed to touch the natural beauties that are embedded in the city, namely: High Park, Lake Ontario and Humber River. If you are a bird and animal lover of species that are not extinct, then you might be able to spot some of Toronto's habitat, such as Canada Geese, Swans, Cormorants, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Cardinals, Beavers or monarch butterflies. If you are a passionate marine adventurer, we will have the opportunity to rent SUP boards or kayaks for exploring the calm waters of the Humber River and see its aquatic plant wonders.
We will meet in front of the building of Royal Ontario Museum. Here you will learn why the Royal Ontario Museum is the most loved and hated architectural building in the city. In case you are interested in exploring the museum, we will have the option to go inside and look through the exhibitions and, of course, the dinosaur collection. After seeing ROM, we will hop on the tube for 15 minutes and get to High Park, where we will explore the biggest park in the city. We will have the option to explore the park on foot or by bike. After we have explored High Park, we will finish our tour at Lake Ontario, where we will be able to ride water bikes. If you prefer a marine adventure rather than exploring High Park, we can explore the Humber River, the largest watershed in Toronto. Here we will be surrounded by the bird habitat and some aquatic plant wonders. The itinerary is fully adjustable to your preferences, and my highest priority will be to tailor it to your satisfaction and fitness level.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will need to ride the tube to high park or near to humber river. Once we are there we have the option to rent bikes, SUP, or kayaks. Of course the walking method will be an option as well. Please note kids rental might be limited to their age group.
100 Queens Park, Toronto, Ontario, M5S 2C6, Canada
If you need pick-up from any other location, message me for a quote otherwise our meeting point will be in front of entrance the ROM building on 100 Queen’s park. Be aware there are several entrances, therefore I recommend using the address as a clue for finding the correct one. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is in downtown Toronto, specifically at 100 Queen's Park, north of the University of Toronto. It is on the southwest corner of Bloor Street and Queen's Park.
