Bonjour / Hi / ¡Hola! The two most frequently asked questions on my tours are whether I am a native Montrealer and what my favourite "thing" about our city is. The answer to the first question is "yes", and the answer to the second is "multiculturalism", which in my view, best defines Montreal. My boundless energy and limitless curiosity have taken me to far-flung places around the globe, but like a boomerang, I always return to my hometown, because nothing quite compares. In addition, having grown up in a bilingual household, I embody the duality which exists here between the French and English cultures. Sharing my enthusiasm and bragging about Montreal with visitors are what it's all about. Although I have a penchant for great food (my mother is from France after all!), history, art and architecture, what I enjoy most about guiding is the interaction with participants on my tours through storytelling. My wish is that they come away not so much with a tour or a lecture, but with an experience, which is precisely what I offer. First-timers will enjoy my classic tours while those wanting to venture further afield can opt for a visit of one of several neighbourhoods. And if art is your thing, why not choose from my series of signature tours, "If our sculptures could talk", available in three locations downtown and in Old Montreal. Choose from several private tours offered by a licensed trilingual tourist guide and native Montrealer. We'll go at your pace and talk about the subjects that interest you. As for the younger set, my goal is, through storytelling, to breathe life into the historical figures and events they've heard about in school. To cover even more ground, I also offer bicycle tours. Let me show you around to give you a deeper understanding of Montreal--and maybe even make you feel like a local. À bientôt! Bienvenue à nos amis francophones. Ma langue maternelle est le français, donc toutes les visites de mon répertoire sont offertes dans la langue de Molière. Au plaisir de vous guider. Bienvenidos a nuestros amigos hispanohablantes. * Certified by the ITHQ (Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management) * Licensed by the city of Montreal * Tour leader * Member, APGT (Professional Tourist Guide Association, Montreal Chapter) * Covered by liability insurance by APGT * Canadian Red Cross First Aid Course * Certificate in Tourism, Concordia University * B.A. Modern Languages, Concordia University * Become a volunteer guide at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts course, Concordia University * Travel writing course, Concordia University Cannot guide inside museums or in Quebec City. Overview of your Montreal tour

*This tour is offered in English, French or Spanish. Approximately 3. 5 miles (5. 5 km) To survive six months of winter, Montrealers enjoy the great outdoors during their leisure time. But the rest of the week, we have to get to where we're going and can't let the weather hold us back. Each day, half a million users appreciate the convenience of shops, restaurants, access to bus terminals and the train station, ATMs, and other services as well as the tasteful light therapy some of the passages provide. Yet, we tend to take the RÉSO for granted, as I used to, until I got to know it better. Let me guide you through this intriguing and ever-expanding labyrinth while explaining its origins, how and why it became the largest in the world by connecting to the metro system. Discover some of the most attractive passages with fabulous art on display, and explore several prestigious inter-connected buildings while staying warm and dry.

François is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. She was willing to focus her voice to my hearing impaired spouse. So very thankful. We both enjoyed seeing the amazing underground network of Montréal that allows locals and visitors to cover the amazing and interesting sites, shopping, entertainment and food offered by this beautiful and historic city. Learned so much about Montréal.

My wife and I had a great time with Francois. The three hour walking tour is very unique and shows a different side, below actually, of Montréal. Fran is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and we're definitely going to be doing other tours with her next time we're in Montréal.

We really enjoyed learning about the history of the Underground in Montreal. There is a lot more art than you would expect as well. Getting to know Montreal with Francoise - a real native with a great love of her city and its history - was a real treat for me and my extended family.

Francoise was absolutely great, take all the time necessary to keep with our group. We are a 12 persons famliy and friends of 12, including kids. There is no way that we would be able to understand the underground city without her knowledge. Atención hispanos hablantes, excelente tour guide en nuestro idioma Merci beaucoup Francoise!

Francoise is a charming, knowledgeable, and accomodating guide. The tour stressed more of the underground passages than originally we thought we would do but Francoise was able to change "on the fly" due to the very cold weather. When we ventured outside she had hand warmers for our use. We spoke about more than just the sites discussing culture, restaurants, etc. and received several recommendations of places to eat and activities to try. I'm sure anyone using Francoise would be more than satisfied.
