Visiting one of nature's greatest delights and considered one of nature's wonders on the same day, this is possible, but it depends on good planning, as some factors may cause the itinerary to be changed, such as arrival time and visitor's departure from our city, the opening and closing of the Brazilian and Argentine national parks, but starting early is possible to take an unforgettable and memorable tour. This tour consists of visiting both sides of the falls and with the possibility of including a boat trip to the falls and a panoramic helicopter flight. **If your group is larger than 4 people, please send a message and I will prepare a personalized tour.
Astir was fantastic! He gave us a complete tour of Iguazu falls from both sides. Very informative. We also visited the hydro plant (something we really wanted to see) and went to the Bird Sanctuary, and the "must do boat to the falls and get soaked" ride, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days.
One of the many benefits of a local guide is when you’re planning all the details independently without a formal tour and forget the small items like how will my family cross the border between Brazil and Argentina? The next day it was an easy start as we packed in both sides of the falls. I would highly recommend splitting it up and spending a day on each side. Super comfortable Mercedes van. Friendly and professional with a deep knowledge of the area. Astir did a great job of navigating back across the border, handling all the paperwork, and then we arrived early at the Brazil side and headed straight to the boat tour. Amazing! Brazil side is way busier but not too bad. Great buffet lunch and then back across the border to Argentina side. Take the stress out of this process and hire on Astir for the two days so you can fully appreciate each side and get off the beaten path.
Astir was a fabulous guide who configured the tour to the time we had available and the best times to see the different sides of the falls. Astir is very punctual, polite, knowledgeable of the area and history, flexible to change the tour to suit our energy levels and proposed great suggestions as to what to see and when. We have taken many tours and Astir is one of the best!!
Astir is knowledgeable about flora and fauna and history of the area. He enriched our visit, helping us to understand the falls. He also knows of the good shopping opportunities, good restaurants and local information. He was promptly on time and scheduled our activities perfectly.
Highly recommend Astir. He gave a very detailed tour of the Iguazu falls. He was very patient with our requests and had excellent recommendations for how to spend the leisure time we had. He also got us a nice Christmas gift :)
Astir is a very experienced and competent guide, everything was planned in advance and made our trip happen without any "surprises". We had a very intensive day with him. Although some parts of the trip were quite not interesting to our small group (we were focused on wildlife observation that couldn't be effective due to huge crowds of people) I definitely recommend Astir's service.
The tour include transfer in and out of IGU airport, in sequence visit Brazilian falls and Argentinean falls. The tour starts at 07h00 leaving the hotel for the Argentine falls with arrival forecast at approximately 08h00, this will depend on the movement in the migratory system of the brazil and argentine customs. 08h00 we buy the tickets and we will take a 400m walk to the train station (ecological driven to natural gas) that will take us to the devil's throat station, where we will make a 2, 200m round trip, and in the sequence we return by train to Cataratas station from where we return to the visitor center where we will board our car returning to the Brazilian side going straight to the falls where we will do a a 1. 5-km walking route with a duration of approximately 1h30, then returning to the hotel. * I can customize this tour according to your availability for the time you will remain in our city, just send me a message, if possible with details about arrival and departure
