Tour to Paraguay from Iguassu Falls

Very good tour! Highly recommended! After cancellation of 2 different tours to Paraguay that I have pre-booked at very short notice, I reached out to Francis via ToursByLocals.com and asked if he could take me on a tour to Ciudad del Este and Saltos Monday the following day. I wasn’t expecting much as it was late at night. However, Francis was quick to respond and agreed to do the tour the following day. Francis was very knowledgeable of the places we visited, history, culture, and local cuisines, What could have been a disappointing visit to Iguazu, because of my 2 cancelled trips to Paraguay, turned out to still be great! Get a taste of Paraguay. Ciudad del Este is a major shopping destination, but even if you're not interested in that and what you're looking for is the chance to add Paraguay to your list and hear about its place in the economy of the Triple Frontier area, this is a great way to do it. We originally booked Francis for two tours (Paraguay and the Argentine side of the falls) during our stay, and he was such a stellar tour guide that we booked him for a third tour before we left. He loves the area and the falls, and he provides a perfect balance of information and time to explore. We don't normally book tours when traveling, but we are so glad we did this time because Francis made the process of crossing borders and knowing where to go and when incredibly easy, efficient, and enjoyable. We highly recommend you choose Francis to guide you around Iguaçu Falls and the Triple Frontier!

Francis knew exactly where to go, including where to eat local food. He was able to navigate some incredible traffic congestion. I wanted to go to Paraguay before going to IGUAZU Falls, and this was the visit Francis made the visit worthwhile. He is fantastic.

We booked this tour on a sunday which is actually a quiet day in Ciudad del Este so some shops were closed but our lovely guide Francis was still able to keep us entertained and gave us a great city tour. Thank you Francis
