Hi there! I’ll never forget the moment I fell for Vienna. Back in 2012 I came here visiting with a friend. On the first day we went walking down the elegant shopping street called “Graben”. And after all those years I still clearly remember that quite and strong feeling of calm knowing that came up in me then and there: this is the very place where I want to be! So, I moved here in 2017 from Budapest - where I also had worked as a licensed tour guide. Soon moving here after I started and completed a very demanding 4 semester course required to pass the tour guide exam. ..And here I am now, a very happy licensed Austria Guide, living the life I’ve always dreamed of in my actual dream-city! You know how the saying goes: Find the job you love and you will never work a day in your life.! So, that’s just me: I love history, classical art, and classical music, the Viennese cafehouses, the sense of humor of the locals, dancing Viennese Waltz in the ballroom, going to theater, opera and concerts and more. I’m a frequent visitor of the most interesting museums and gorgeous palaces of Vienna..And the best part is that I can talk about all this to my dear and interested guests. My interest in history and art started at Highschool where I studied the Latin language, and literature. Later I spent a couple of years in Rome to learn Italian and ever since I haven’t stopped dealing with classical art and history - deepening and enriching my knowledge by reading and re-reading books about art and the biographies of the greatest artists of Europe. Long story short, I’ve turned my passion into my profession. How would I describe my tours? They are dynamic, informative, easy to fallow and entertaining - of course I adjust pace and stories to my guests very specific interests. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy… sure enough, I’m aware of the fact that this is your vacation, not a history lecture…! 😊

Imagine this: you comfortably stroll through the old town of a beautiful city. You are surrounded by spectacular architecture. You listen to the interesting and fun stories behind them. After our walk you end up in one of the the most special cellars of Vienna, 4 stories under the surface of the street and listen to its surprising history. Finally, sit down and taste a nice refreshing local wine. What can be better than this? Here you have 3 options: 1. We only visit the cellar. 2. We visit the cellar and have a glass of local wine afterwards (grape juice for kids) 3. Have an informal wine tasting with 3 types of wine and snacks -to be payed on the spot, 36€ per person Tour NOT available on Sundays and bank holidays (the cellar is closed).
I'll show you the major highlights, such as the -State Opera -Hotel Sacher -Hofburg Palace Complex -Heroes Square -Stables of the Lipizzaner Stallions -Graben -Kohlmarkt shopping street - St Stephen's Cathedral …and lovely hidden medieval streets and squares, countless beautiful palaces and much more. Easy walk to the cellar. Inside the cellar however there are many stairs downwards, NO elevator.

If you face the main facade of the Opera, on the right side there's a metro entrance and a modern monument made out of aluminum right next to this - that's where we meet.
