Wine tour with a local (visit the hidden gems of mendoza)

Julieta was an excellent guide to some of the wineries in Mendoza. Highly recommend.

Julieta was a lovely hostess, with clear contact arrangements and a detailed tour around Mendoza with a history of region and answering any general questions we had. We went to 2 unique wineries very different than any previous type of wine tasting experiences we have had. They both were very detailed and included plenty of wine and some good accompanying tasting plate. Lunch was rearranged to make it a simpler fare rather than a larger set menu experience that can be offered. Just note that the tasting prices are not included and may be a bit higher than anticipated, however both tastings represented very good value when comparing quality, information and amount of wine and food provided. A very rewarding and memorable experience.

We had a fantastic day with Julieta as our guide. She was warm, friendly, and full of local knowledge, giving us an experience that felt authentic rather than scripted or overly formal. As she mentions in her profile, she is definitely a talker and isn’t shy about sharing her opinions, which made for lively and entertaining conversations throughout the day. Julieta was right on schedule for our hotel pickup and had excellent choices lined up for us. She took us to two outstanding wineries for a tour and tasting, both of which were well worth the visit. She also selected an extraordinary restaurant for lunch, where we enjoyed a truly memorable meal. By the time we returned to our hotel, we were tired and slightly woozy but well-fed and very happy! If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, engaging, and gives you a true local experience, Julieta is a great choice!

If you want to stay off the touristy tours and go to very special wineries with an expert in the history of Mendoza and its wines, then this is the perfect tour for you. Julieta was amazing from the beginning of the tour to the end of it. The first winery we visited was a small one with its own vineyards and history. The second one was quite different in the way they develop their wines. And the lunch was superb with great food and company. Julieta even went beyond the tour experience by giving us tips on other places to visit and restaurants to explore in Mendoza. Thank you so much Julieta for a great day!

We loved traveling with Julieta in Mendoza! We did two days of wine tasting and the experience was great. Julieta worked with me in advance to select which wineries to go to and had great recommendations about avoiding more commercialized places which I appreciated. She was very knowledgable about the region and the local wine industry and provided a great service. We would recommend her to anyone traveling to Mendoza.

3rd review, so running out of positive things to say that aren't repetitive. Julieta is brilliant. You can't go wrong with her as your guide. Super responsive. Super flexible. Ultra knowledgeable. And, just a pleasure to be around. Can't recommend her enough.
