Growing up in Mendoza and being native Mendocinean are the best ways to learn how Mendoza became in a very dinamic, prosperous city and one of the Wine Capitals. See the origin of this place, having a full day inside The Andes, taking the Pan-American Highway you are going to realize why Mendoza is the gateway to The Pacific! Before enjoying this mountain range, our journey goes through The Pre Andes or foothills to a man-made lake having a fabulous mirror inside the Andes. After this stop the following one is Uspallata, for a necessary coffee break and ready for our highlight: Aconcagua mountain, the highest pick out of The Himalayas. Due to is a long journey, there is a lot of time for different kind of chats, making it more enjoyable at the same time you are lost in the view of this nature wonders.
Vincent is absolutely fantastic! Our 9-hour tour was an unforgettable experience, and his charisma brought the places to life in a way we never expected. The beauty of the spots he took us to was breathtaking! Huge thanks for arranging such a wonderful time – we truly enjoyed every moment with Vincent's expertise and humor.
Had an amazing High Andes to our with Vicente today! Vicente and his driver were excellent all day. While much of this particular tour is spent on the road (Aconcagua is far!), the drive was awesome and Vicente explained many aspects of the landscape, Mendoza and Argentina. Would highly recommend this tour if you'd like to get out of the city and see the mountains!
Long day but well worth the views enjoyed during our tour. Vicente was an excellent guide and extremely professional and full of local knowledge. Highly recommend traveling with Vicente
- Pick up at the hotel - Heading west, stopping at Potrerillos dam - After 50 minutes Uspallata village for a restroom and a coffee - From there one hour 20 minutes to the Aconcagua and after this point coming back to Mendoza city but stopping before at Inca'Bridge. The idea is to be back in the city around 5PM. Aconcagua trekking is from November to April. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences and interests.
