Hello dear friends, welcome to my profile! By inheritance of my parents and grandparents, at a very early age, I fell in love with this beautiful province. . . Mendoza! Visiting my grandparents' fields weekly, made me grow among vineyards and mountains, riding horses, climbing, and driving off road every weekend… which awakened in me, this huge passion for wine, the Andes mountains, and off roading. Time went by quickly and from a day to another I had finished my studies in marketing and then in business administration degree, and I was working for big companies, but I had completely moved away from my hobbies and passions; which made me very unhappy. Finally, one day I understood that my studies combined with my passions, were the perfect combination to create the work that I always dreamed. . . and here I am. . . I chose this wonderful place to live riding, as our old gauchos used to do when they took cattle from Mendoza to Chile. These immense mountains hold magical memories, which we can only revive in the most traditional way possible, on foot or on horseback. To reach these immense mountains we will travel a path that was part of the Inca trail, part of the empire in its expansion towards the south of the continent. From the personal this cavalcade gathers many things, like being the only ones that we ride at those heights, with the possibility of seeing the highest and most beautiful mountains of the Andes, Travel corners that the true gauchos used to travel while they took cattle from Mendoza to Chile and honor the history of freedom of Mendoza, where San Martin gestated the independence of Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru. I invite you to live a ride as forged the history of Mendoza, in a unique location of the continent.
My wife and I had the best day with Juan. It is a very unique experience and that includes great conversation, views, and food. He makes sure you always have whatever you need throughout the day. We had not ridden horses in many years but he gave simple instructions and made sure we were comfortable with the horses. This is a great value for the money!!

He takes extreme care to ensure his guests have a top notch and authentic experience. The horseback riding takes place in an ideal location well up into the Andes, and the views on the drive up and on the ride are unable to be believed until you see them yourself--make sure you do! This was a perfect way to kickoff my trip!
We travel frequently and Juan Cruz was one of the best guides we ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable and his attention to detail was very impressive. I don't want to spoil any surprises, but there were many unexpected treats throughout the day.
Juan is an amazing guide. He took my wife and I out on a horseback riding excursion and a wine tour and we had an excellent time. Juan knows about everything we drove by or could ask questions about and is one of the easiest people to talk to. Juan was wonderful, my wife and I had such a great time spending the day with him. The horseback riding was not some hokey experience but a full day out, experiencing all of Mendoza and Juan knows everything! From wine to history of Mendoza and a life filled with bountiful experiences the 10 hours we spent with him flew by and we had a great time. - We will leave the city of Mendoza, at 9 am, with destine to Las Heras department, where we will enter into the foot hills for an off route up to coming to a mountain ranch, where a gaucho will be waiting for us with the horses ready. - When we are ready to go out, we will go towards the nearby hills, where we will be able to enjoy of wonderful views of the valley and of the pre mountain chain. - We will detain to take a few typical Argentine "mates", and then we will take again the riding to come to the ranch to have a great "asado". - After this, a new round of "mates" or coffee, and then. . . go back to the city again. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences and interests.
