I've fallen in love with Mendoza, its hidden spots, varied landscapes, and changing colors at different times of the year. There are incredible wineries all over the province, not to mention the imposing mountains. All this natural beauty is the backdrop for a beautiful city with a rich history, which I'd love to share with you. I have a degree in Demography and Tourism (2004, John F. Kennedy University, Buenos Aires) and over twenty years experience working in tourism. I've worked in hospitality, ran my own hostel, and now, I do private tours in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I've been a licensed guide in the Province of Mendoza since 2006. I started my own company in 2018, Mendoza Customized Tours. I specialize in private, tailor-made tours, with guaranteed quality, service, and professionalism. I hope to see you soon! In this high-altitude valley, vineyards rest at the foot of the Andes, sharing the microclimate with fruit orchards. The backdrop is the snow-capped Andes. Uco Valley is currently one of the most famous regions in Argentina and the world, not only due to its extremely high quality of wines, but also to its offer of high-end wineries, restaurants and inns accompanied by its location in an incredible geography. Our plan for the day is to visit some of those wonderful wineries and enjoy their charming surroundings. Come with me, you won't regret it!
• I'll pick you up around 9 am, from where ever you're staying, in or around the city of Mendoza. • We'll visit three of Mendoza's best wineries. There are many beautiful places to see along the way and we can stop to take photos of the Andes and vineyards wherever you want. • At the first two wineries, we'll do tastings and tours (1. 5 hours each). There will be a local guide to show you around the winery. They will explain wine making and then lead you in a wine tasting. • At the last winery, you'll sit down to a multi-course lunch with paired wines for each course (about 3 hours). • I'll drop you off at your lodging around 5 pm. The wineries we visit are different every time, based on your preferences and availability. I can recommend wineries that I know provide top-level service, food, and wine. At all the wineries, the guides are knowledgable and friendly. And of course you can always ask me!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
