I was born in Cordoba, where since ten years ago I was able to venture into mountaineering. My first steps were in Cordoba's sierras, and from there I went to know the high mountains. Five years ago, I make my dreams come true: I came to Mendoza to became a professional mountain guide to be able to live from what I love. In the past years I get a lot of experience in high mountain, what I like most. For me the mountains are a way of living. I am also working -two years now- in a foundation dedicated to training in outdoors pre-hospital emergencies. I really enjoy to share our culture, specially Argentinean cuisine, I really care about the meals in the tours, and they have to be homemade meals, they are much better ! Come to Mendoza, join me, discover the Andes and share this passion, the mountains. - Passionate Mountaineer - Professional mountain guide - Wilderness advanced emergency medical technician (AEMT) - Passionated rock climber - In my car can fit up to 4 people comfortably. Please inquire for larger groups. - Please note that some times i can be at the Mountains, that may delay the reply message

I would like to invite you to this beautiful activity that combines the best of Mendoza's mountain life, recreational hiking, and the traditional Argentinean food par excellence: the asado gaucho (barbecue). You will experience a full day regional tour. The activity will begin in the Front Mountain Range -at 2, 400 meters above sea level- with a low-difficulty 3-hour hike. During the tour we will get to know the typical way of life of the locals, with their livestock and their pace of life, so different from that of the city. We will also see local wildlife: condors, guanacos and foxes. And as we reach higher altitudes, we will be amazed by the great views of Potrerillos, its dam and the pre-mountain range. This is one of my favorite places, because my good friend Daniel lives there, he is a Gaucho, and we can have lunch with him, making this a unique experience.
— 8:30 a. m. pick up at your accommodation. — It will be a two-hour or 85-kilometer drive until the beginning of the trekking. On the way, we will be able to see the Cacheuta Village and Potrerillos dam. — After lunch, we will enjoy some coffee or "mate", weather permitting, and we will return to the city at around 6. 30 pm. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences and interests.
