I chose to stay because I completely fell in love with Cappadocia’s nature, history, local life, geography, and extraordinary landscapes. I genuinely love guiding. Meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds is what makes this job special for me. I enjoy connecting with people and sharing stories, experiences, and local knowledge. I am truly happy doing what I do. My interests include architecture, history, politics, languages, nature, biking, hiking, and exploring new places. However, my greatest passion is meeting people and introducing them to my country and culture. I am a licensed professional tour guide in Turkey, living in Cappadocia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Tour Guiding and have been a licensed guide since 2016. I have traveled to nearly 95% of Turkey, which allows me to share deep cultural and historical insights with my guests. I specialize in private cultural tours, outdoor experiences, as well as biking and hiking tours. I know the trails of Cappadocia very well, and exploring the region by bike or on foot is one of the best ways to discover hidden valleys and untouched landscapes especially for active travelers. We had a great time with Emrulla! He organized a fantastic introduction to Cappadocia for us - and was attentive and flexible enough to adjust plans to match our interests and energy level as needed.
