Hallo! I'm Niels, a true Dutch born and bred cheese-head, and live in a small town near Rotterdam. A born and raised Dutchman, I was educated as a primary school teacher and worked as such for 8 years. Then I decided to change my life and become a tour leader in Asia. Since 2009 I have been regularly working and living in India, Spain, South East Asia and my beloved homecountry the Netherlands! I am very proud of my city Rotterdam and I would love to show you all the highlights and the hidden gems as well. After a tour with me, you will as excited about Rotterdam as I am. We can tour the city in a half day (three / four hours) from the cruise terminal. If you have more time, we can visit the Kinderdike windmills, or a town nearby like Delft, Schiedam or Gouda. In flower season, I can arange transportation and visit the Keukenhof and tulpfields. Neils showed us Rotterdam and sights we would have never seen on our own. Neils met us at our ship and We took a gentle walk around Rotterdam and there was plenty of time to grab photos. Niels was very informative and helpful. He met us at our hotel and then led us, paying attention to what we wanted. We were delighted with his guidance and recommend him highly for a tour of The Hague. We later followed his recommendation for dinner and had a superb meal as well.

Niels was an outstanding tour director. We enjoyed all of our TBL tours on our cruise, but Niels stood out as a real pro. He has a warm personality, speaks clearly and has extensive knowledge of the history and culture of the area.
