Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Chiara (pron. Kiara) and I am an official tourist guide active in Naples and it's province. I am an art and culture lover and what I like the most in my job is the astonished expression I see on the face of people when I show them the beauty of my country. I graduated at the University in foreign languages and after that, with a public exam I obtained the official license of Tourist Guide. I started to work in 2013 in the back office of a travel agency. But since the first time I led a group of people to visit Naples, I understood this job is what I want to do the most. In fact as a tourist guide I don't have to sit the whole day behind a desk in a office but I can enjoy the beauty all around. And the most interesting is that I can share this tunning experience with other people who want to know my city! As a tour guide I have the possibility to enjoy the most Beautiful places of my region every day. And even after many years I can tell that I am still amazed by all the history and beauty we are surrounded by in this area. So my job is to show you this beauty made of history, iconic landskapes, vibrant colours, atmosphere and paradoxes that give to Naples a unique charme. I am deeply interested in the understanding of the mentality, traditions, life conditions, history and all the possible aspects that have had an influence and that have given a contribution to create the place and the people as you see them today in the city of Naples. My mission is to give you a taste of my city where you can literally breathe and feel "what Naples is made of". And for this reason I like very much to offer food tours in Naples. Here in Southern Italy, food is connected to emotions and care for others. All the love we wanna espress to the family members, goes through food. I am an art and history lover so I like very much to show people the art into museums but even the new conceptual street art that we have on the walls of the old city Centre. Then of course as history lover I can't wait to introduce you to the life of two thousand years ago that we can see still intact and frozen in time into Pompeii ruins.
