An experienced tour leader and professional car driver, I have been living and working in Santorini for 10 years, now. Also, being born and raised in a Greek island, it wasn't hard for me to understand and feel the authentic atmosphere of my surroundings from the very beginning. In my first professional steps, I chose to be a driver in some of the biggest travel agencies of the island. These years were the most important ones in my career, although I couldn't realize that back then, for they gave me a full picture of the streets and driving rules in a place with thousands of visitors arriving every day (especially during the summer season). Later, I started leading small and bigger groups around the island, following a specific itinerary and time schedule that was given by the agencies. I was feeling so scared and thrilled at the same time. Scared because I had to face big responsibilities, but also thrilled because I had finally found my dream job. Since then, I have been working day and night, discovering every important, new or secret spot, activity, taste and view that could best represent the "real" Santorini. Even now, being the owner and designer of my tours and services, I still feel the same enthusiasm every time I welcome a new guest in Santorini. Most of them say that they can feel this enthusiasm.
